Palestine is the most important concern in the Islamic world that needs urgent attention, especially from the international community. The situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories is the most obvious type of aggression and inhumane acts of the Zionist regime against this oppressed nation, and it has caused the Zionists to continue to occupy Quds (Jerusalem), the first Qibla of the world's Muslims. When we talk about Zionism, we should follow meanings and words such as: terrorism, racism, expansionism, domination, militarism, espionage, and sedition in the image of Zionism. Today, we see the conspiracy of some Western countries to weaken the Islamic world, while the Islamic nation must use the opportunity of World Al-Quds Day to defend Palestine and the rights of Muslims. The unity of the Islamic world to defend Palestine must be strengthened, and the international community must play a key role in helping to resolve the Palestinian question.
Arab rulers’ double standards
The silence of some Muslim rulers on the issue of Palestine is a challenge for the Islamic world, while the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is divided and lacks a sense of direction to protect the interests of the Palestinian people.
Unity against Zionism
The time has come for the international community to take practical action, not just by issuing a statement, and a practical step must be taken to prevent the Zionists from looting the rights of the Palestinian people.
Palestine has strong roots among the people of the Islamic world and all freedom-loving nations. The strong voice of the Zionist regime's aggression and occupation must always be condemned and we must continue to support the Palestinian people.
Emergence of Zionism
To address the importance of the Palestinian question, we must take a brief look at the phenomenon of Zionism. Because Zionism is a Western phenomenon, it is the result of the long contact and coexistence of the issues and problems of the Jewish community and Europe with the cultural, economic, political and social elements of the West. For this reason, Zionism is a 100% Western phenomenon and complication. Zionism considers itself a "political school" founded in 1896 by Theodor Herzl, the founder of the First Zionist Congress.
When we talk about Zionism, we should follow meanings and words such as: terrorism, racism, expansionism, domination, militarism, espionage, and sedition in the image of Zionism. The political goal of the Zionist movement is to dominate a land as large as the Nile to the Euphrates and to form a government based on ethnic nationalism.
Nature of Zionism
Zionism is a racist political movement based on prejudice, formed in the late 19th century, beginning in Britain and then in the United States. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the movement began its efforts to relocate Jews to Palestine, known as the Return, and turned it into an aggressive movement to resettle Jews and establish Jewish settlements in Palestine. The main role of these immigrants was military-terrorist operations, and the settlement of Jews was next.
Factors that Zionism used to create the state of Israel are: a) Its elemental power among the political and economic resources of Europe and the United States. B) The common goal that was created in the fight against Nazism between Zionism and the European states and the United States of America. C) The weakness, poverty and dispersion of the Palestinian people and the Arab governments. D) The influence and domination of Britain and European countries and the United States in the Arab Middle East. E) The complete unity of its cultural, political and economic elements with Europe and the United States. F) The difference of interests between the Arab regimes and the Arab masses and the complete proximity of these regimes to European countries, especially the UK.
US, Britain, and Zionism
We see that the relation of Zionism with the policies of Britain and the United States is not due to an implicit agreement, but due to the essential nature of Zionism as one of the sub-phenomena of this world policy of the great powers. Herzl believed that the Jewish question was not a religious or social issue but merely an ethnic one, that the problem of the Jewish people could not be solved except by becoming a global political issue and launching "anti-Semitism. In order to show the oppression and mobilize the world public opinion to gain its support, it should be analyzed in this regard.
Zionists’ ideology
Zionism's ambitions are many: gaining world leadership, eliminating or overshadowing the three great religions (Christianity, Judaism and Islam) with the aim of ideological superiority, can be considered as important goals of political Zionism. In a general classification, Zionism is intellectually and ideologically based on the following principles: 1. Absolute belief in militarism and the upbringing of the Zionist generation according to this policy. 2. Absolute denial of the natural rights of the Palestinians. 3. Justification of using any method and means to achieve the goals of Zionism. 4. Relying on the law of "the absolute supremacy of the Zionists" so that other human beings are at a lower level than them. 5. Salvation of the Jewish homeland and its cleansing from Muslims.
Why US support Zionism
But the issue that needs to be considered in the explanation of Zionism is the US-Israel bond, because US strategic support for the Israeli occupying regime can be clearly seen in four stages: 1) Supporting the formation of Israel and the continuation of existence Its immediate recognition in 1922 and its support for expansionism in 1967; 2) Develop a US foreign policy strategy based on "Israel-centric" in the Middle East and confront the factors that disturb Israel; 3) Efforts to impose peace with the aim of establishing an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel; and 4) Veto all resolutions against Israel.
Israel’s vulnerabilities
However, Israel, which is born of the idea of Zionism, has vulnerabilities, the most important of which include: 1) Lack of strategic depth (i.e. the latitude of the Zionist regime does not reach 100 km); 2) The problem of population and religious differences where the three main currents such as secularists, religious fanatics and radicals are in conflict with each other; 3) Ethnic heterogeneity (5 million people from 102 countries with different nationalities live in Israel); 4) The rise of the Intifada, which has various consequences for Israel, including economic problems and the reduction of terrorism, which is one of the sources of income for the Israeli regime; 5) Reverse migration (currently not only people but also capital is transferred out of Israel because the Israeli environment is a safe place neither to live nor to invest); 6) The growth and spread of Islamism in the surrounding areas and the Islamic world; and 7) The spread of hatred of Zionism, which at the Durban Summit in South Africa in 2002 called Zionism the equivalent of racism.
Undoubtedly, World Al-Quds Day united the Islamic world in its widespread support for Palestine. Palestine, which was once an Arab issue, became the axis of unity of the Islamic world. A comparison of the resolutions and statements issued and the meetings held shows the obvious difference of this point.
Palestine at the forefront of world affairs
With the announcement of the International Day of Quds, the issue of Palestine went beyond the Islamic world and became the center of global developments. Zionism was synonymous with "apartheid" at the Durban Conference in South Africa, and the 500,000-strong demonstration in the heart of Europe, like London, was acknowledged by British state radio.
Intifada formation
Undoubtedly, the intifada of the Palestinian people is the product of World Al-Quds Day. This uprising had two salient features: it was "Islamic and popular" and the intifada itself had many consequences: 1. Increasing convergence and unity among the Islamic world. 2. Globalizing sympathy for the Palestinian people and hatred of Israel. 3. The spread of insecurity inside Israel and the transfer of capital outside Israel. 4. Increased migration and brain drain from Israel to other parts of the world. 5. The spread of public discontent among the people of Israel. 6. Creating hope among the Palestinian people for a better future. 7. Effect in reducing conflicts and differences between jihadi groups and forming a kind of consensus in the fight against Israel
It was for the first time in the shadow of the Intifada that, more than forty years after the occupation of Palestine and the existence of the Zionist regime, the Palestinians were on the offensive and the Israelis were on the defensive.
Palestine, the Intifada and the challenges ahead
The efforts of the world powers to implement the roadmap for the imposition of peace, the disagreement among Islamic countries over how to support Palestine, the US attempt to create a rift between Islamic countries over concepts and terms such as terrorism, peace that they want to reduce under this pretext, and the United States' Middle East strategy of widespread support for Israeli state terrorism are among the most important challenges for the Palestinians. But on the other hand, there are hopes and developments ahead for Palestine: the spread of public hatred of Israel and global sympathy with the Palestinian people and the formation of uprisings and movements in support of this nation.
Quds belongs not only to Palestine but to the Islamic world.
The occupation of Palestine was the beginning of a great project aimed at creating a sense of greed and humiliation among the Muslim Ummah and, as a result, carrying out the great project of Zionism against the capabilities of the Muslims. But the Palestinian resistance and the position of the Muslim nations prevented the implementation of this plan. Quds is a symbol of the alignment of the right against the wrong. Al-Quds should be considered as the axis of unity and convergence of the Islamic Ummah and against the arrogant efforts to intensify divergence and create evil alliances in order to spread the conflict between Muslims and Islamic religions.
Over the years, the Zionist regime and its allies have tried to weaken Quds, a symbol of the unity of the Islamic and Muslim fronts against arrogance. But the result of all their efforts is this Islamic awakening in the Islamic world, which is becoming more and more entrenched and expanding day by day. This is a sign that the issue of Palestine, despite what the usurpers of Palestine and their supporters wanted, is becoming more and more alive in the Islamic world, and this unites the Muslims of the world.
Final word
Palestine is one of the few countries in which the followers of different religions are influential and constitute this country. In Palestine, in addition to the various religions, there are different Abrahamic religions, which can be seen as the interaction of these religions in Jerusalem, but unfortunately, the occupiers have turned this strength into a weakness for this country. Quds should become the center of dialogue between the Abrahamic religions and Islam.
The secret of success in the unity and rapprochement of different religions and denominations is that the indigenous peoples of Palestine themselves (including Jews and Muslims of different religions, not the occupiers and cannibals who are so-called Jews and in fact never adhere to the principles and beliefs of Moses) choose their system and government. It is in this way that unity in the true sense of the word is realized in the general and specific spheres.
Unity in the general sense is the unity of the world's revolutionaries and in the specific sense in the field of Islam and between Islamic religions. Al-Quds must become the capital of the coexistence of Muslims and other religions and the center of dialogue between different religions and sects, and by expelling the Hebrew-Arab-American front, the intervention must become the Arab-Islamic front.
