Biden’s primary goal in visiting the Middle East: To Save the Zionist regime, which is engulfed in catastrophic conflicts

or the last decades, Israel has been embroiled in a myriad of existential threats, including heterogeneous ethnic and religious demographic makeup, the reverse emigration of Jews from Israel, class conflict, and generational divisions.
Today, Israel teeters on the brink of economic collapse. According to observers, the incontrovertible decline of the Israeli economy is a pressing issue that jeopardises the fragile Israeli society as more financial stagnation and political impasse loom on the horizon. In addition to the financial plight, there are widening socio-political schisms in Zionist society.
One of the fundamental reasons for Israel’s constant economic and political stalemate stems from incessant power struggles between disparate political factions that failed to rise above political bickering, each having their own unique ideological orientations.
The political crisis of the Zionist regime reached its nadir in 2019 since none of the Israeli parties could muster enough votes to establish a stable and robust cabinet.
Ultimately, Naftali-Bennett’s coalition cabinet also recently collapsed. Now the Zionists are facing a transitional cabinet and have to hold early elections for the fifth time. This has sparked intense factional strife between the right-wing and the leftists, while the secular and ultra-orthodox communities have been mired in waves of bitter and divisive animosity.
Tel Aviv witnessed an upsurge in political rivalry when it was announced that Biden would visit the Mideast and stop at occupied Palestine (Israel).
Instead of Bennett, Yair Lapid, Israel’s interim prime minister, greeted Biden at Ben Gurion Airport, even though Biden and Bennett have an excellent personal rapport.
It is noteworthy that, the Zionist political elites needed Biden’s trip to the occupied territories at domestic and regional levels to boost their declining morale.
When compared to the period of his campaign for the 2020 US presidential election and even his first few months in the Oval Office, some analysts suggest that Biden has dramatically softened his stance on the vicious activities of the Zionist regime, mainly concerning Israel’s ongoing illegal settlement construction in the occupied West Bank.
Similarly, Biden will use this trip to demonstrate his particular interest in the political developments in Israel and use the visit as a diplomatic manoeuvre to gain support from Zionist lobbying groups back in Washington, DC.
Meanwhile, a potential security arrangement involving Israel and Saudi Arabia, under the auspices of Biden, has been the topic of much conjecture in the Israeli media.
On the other hand, many political commentators believe that any Tel Aviv-Riyadh entente would benefit Lapid’s status in Israeli politics.
Therefore, at least theoretically, Lapid’s personality, his centrist views, and his profound understanding of the importance of traditional and strategic relations with the United States as the backbone of Israel’s national security all indicate that it would be easier for the Biden administration to deal with Lapid than with the hard-line Bennett on the Iranian dossier.
Nevertheless, a contentious point regarding Biden’s trip to Israel, which has triggered a ferocious clash between Lapid and Netanyahu, is to take the helm of the continuous campaign to normalise ties with other Arab governments, particularly Saudi Arabia.
Lapid and Netanyahu are also racing to forge an alleged joint Arab-Israeli military alliance in the Middle East similar to NATO. One of the objectives of this semi-NATO Middle East alliance is to confront the common enemy, which is Iran and its “Axis of Resistance.” However, the primary goal is purportedly to incorporate Zionism into the core of the region’s power dynamics, thus creating a sinister political order in West Asia.
In conclusion, during his brief tenure in the White House, Biden has abjectly failed to exert any pressure on the Zionists to desist from building illegal settlements in the Palestinian territories and has offered no new initiatives to revive the so-called peace talks between Israel and the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority.
In addition to invariably ensuring Israel’s security, Biden’s visit to West Asia also aims to address domestic challenges in the United States. For this reason, he has scheduled several meetings with wealthy Arab leaders to convince them to buy more American military weapons.
