Biden’s visit to Israel boosts Lapid’s electoral chances and boosts the declining morale of Zionist elites ahead of the November snap election

More than seven decades have elapsed since the sinister establishment of the Zionist regime in 1948. On the eve of Biden’s Middle East tour, in addition to its ongoing legitimacy crisis, Israel is grappling with a myriad of socio-economic challenges that could lead it to its ultimate doom and threaten to bring it to its knees, as economic remedies and political initiatives have proven ineffective.
Currently, Israel’s desperate state of affairs is mirrored by the fact that its society is rapidly spiralling downward towards social unrest, political turmoil, financial slump, and demographic conundrum. Meanwhile, daily mass demonstrations erupted in the cities across occupied Palestine amid the escalating ethnic strife.
The magnitude of the political cataclysms is so immense that it has reflected itself in the perpetual factional squabbling in the Knesset, which has been dissolved for the fifth time in a row in the preceding three and a half years. Furthermore, the dissolution of the Knesset will be one of the Zionist regime’s most embarrassing fiascos during Biden’s imminent visit.
According to Israeli observers, the Zionist regime has been effectively paralysed by outraged protests against poor living conditions and dwindling social security.
The continuous bleak political climate that has embroiled Israel leaves it with no promising political landscape in the wake of the lingering Israeli-Palestinian impasse, Hamas’ rising military capabilities in the Gaza Strip, and heightened tensions with Lebanon over the Karish gas field, all of which undermine any upcoming Israeli administration that comes into office.
Thus, in this dreadful situation where the Zionist regime finds itself on the verge of political bankruptcy, Biden will attempt to instil a sliver of hope and boost the waning morale of the Zionist leadership.
Accordingly, Biden will endeavour to reinvigorate the so-called Abraham Accords that have previously received Riyadh’s tacit blessing and persuade Riyadh to normalise ties with Tel Aviv to alleviate Israel’s slew of domestic and regional troubles.
Meanwhile, Israeli Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman expressed optimism on Monday that he hopes Biden’s tour of the Mideast will lead to a common Middle East market that includes Saudi Arabia, as this will alter the region’s security and financial panorama.
The six-member Persian Gulf Cooperation Council [PGCC] is scheduled to convene a joint summit with the US president on Friday after a visit to Israel and the occupied West Bank.
