British jets intercept two Russian military planes: tension in the skies

Tension in the skies: British and Swedish jets have intercepted Russian military planes. These are, specifically, the Eurofighter Typhoon of England RAF and the Gripen of the Swedish Air Force, which apparently sighted an Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft and a Su-27 fighter of the Russian air forces right in the vicinity of the airspace Born and Swedish. The RAF reported this sighting, specifying that "the Russian planes did not comply with international standards, however they remained in international airspace and flew professionally".

Meanwhile, new aid is said to be arriving from the USA for Ukraine. The Pentagon is expected to announce a new $2 billion military aid package in the next few hours, as reported by the Bloomberg agency. Meanwhile, Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory continue: Moscow's army carried out a missile attack against the community of Zviahel in the northern Ukrainian region of Zhytomyr, killing one person and leaving several others injured. This was reported this morning by the Ukrinform agency, quoting local authorities.
