Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang communicated this today Friday, in a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in the state of Goa.

The Chinese head of state, Xi Jinping, recently had a direct telephone conversation with the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky. This is an important step taken by China to promote a political solution to the Ukrainian crisis, and once again demonstrates China's consistent position of peace promotion and negotiations. Jinping was keen to underline that his country and Central Asian states share similar views and positions on the Ukrainian crisis.
