Five Years On: The Victories Achieved by the Axis of Resistance Post-Soleimani's Martyrdom

As the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of the main pillar of the Axis of Resistance, General Qasem Soleimani, looms upon us, the Middle East finds itself ensnared in a state of high alert. In the following article, I shall endeavor to provide a succinct analysis of the tangible victories realized by the Axis of Resistance in the aftermath of the martyrdom of General Qasem Soleimani, as well as explore Iran's resolute vow to exact severe retribution upon the instigators and committers of that sordid terrorist crime.

Following the martyrdom of General Soleimani, Tehran issued a stern warning to all parties involved in that terror crime, asserting its unwavering commitment to exact vengeance upon those implicated in that tragic incident. Iran's strategy, characterized by meticulous planning and a methodical approach, has demonstrated a commitment to achieving its objectives, refusing to be content with ephemeral gains for the attainment of greater goals.



As a matter of fact, the Islamic Republic of Iran has proclaimed its main strategy to expel the United States’ military from West Asia, devising a roadmap in this regard. Allow me to outline the measures undertaken by Tehran to end the US military's existence in this vital part of the world:



i. Subsequent to the martyrdom of General Qasem Soleimani, the raids launched against the United States' terrorist bases in the West have intensified to the extent that such attacks have become routine for the pro-Iran resistance forces. Not a day passes without these audacious assaults. This relentless campaign has inflicted profound psychological pressure upon the United States’ military, effectively shattering the myth of its invincibility that once boasted within Western media. Today, the US military’s reputation lies in tatters.



ii. The Axis of Resistance has amassed such formidable strength that it now not only wages military offensives but also engages in diplomatic maneuvers in Iraq to achieve the expulsion of the United States' military. This concerted effort signifies a resolute commitment to overseeing the withdrawal of American forces from the region. Moreover, as the forthcoming 2024 presidential elections in the United States loom on the horizon, the US administration is left with less than a year to devise an honorable solution to this colossal predicament haunting its forces in the Middle East.



iii. Iran, in its quest to retaliate against the United States, has also prioritized exerting substantial pressure on the Israeli regime, which has long been under intermittent strikes launched by Palestinian fighters. It was in October last year that Iran, in an emphatic display of its power, dealt a severe blow to Israel's military reputation. Consequently, the Israeli regime now teeters on the brink of collapse, bereft of any recourse, as the United States itself languishes in an inexorable decline.





iv. Yemen, having emerged victorious in its war against Saudi Arabia, now exercises unmitigated control over the Bab el-Mandab Strait. No power may traverse this region without the permission of the Yemeni resistance, neutralizing the United States military presence in this critical sea passage. With its practical measures directed towards the Western bloc, Yemen dismisses the idea of the Israeli army receiving unequivocal support from the Western powers as an utterly illusory notion.



In conclusion, the five years that have elapsed since the martyrdom of General Qasem Soleimani, who spearheaded the battle against Western terrorism in West Asia, have witnessed monumental victories. All of these remarkable achievements stand as a testament to the blessings bestowed by the blood of Martyr Soleimani.

Indeed, the awe-inspiring fear instilled within the enemy by Martyr Soleimani has burgeoned today. Gone are the days when the Muslim nations reeled in the shameful landscape of Arab regimes normalizing relations with Israel.

Today, the tables have turned, rendering such normalization an impossible démarche for traitorous Arab regimes. The courageous onslaught launched by the Axis of Resistance against the terrorist US military bases has reached astonishing proportions, with hundreds of missile and drone attacks carried out on a daily basis. Consequently, US hegemony has plummeted once and for all, materialized by the spiritual force the late General represents.
