Hamas marks founding anniversary

In his speech at the 35th-anniversary ceremony of the foundation of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, Chief of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), underscored the following points:

“Today, We extend greetings to the Palestinian citizens who assembled to reaffirm their allegiance to the fallen martyrs, Hamas, the nation, and the [Islamic] Ummah at the “Al-Katibah al-Khadra” area.

“We congratulate the Palestinian nation for the heroic and legendary resistance of Gaza, which has always adhered to its commitments and is waiting for the liberation of the occupied territories,” Mr. Haniyeh remarked.

He continued his remarks by saying: “Once again, we renew our allegiance to the Palestinian nation and the valiant men of this nation, prominent among them martyr Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and all the beloved martyrs, for continuing the path of resistance and devotion to national principles in this great country from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Jordan] River.”

Salutations to Mohammed Deif, the Commander-in-Chief of the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades and the military commanders of Gaza, at the top of them, Abu Ibrahim al-Sinwar, and all the men, women, and youth who made sacrifices, accomplished epics, and have made the nation proud.
