Iran: Message from Major General Salami to Leader of the Revolution

In a message to the Supreme Commander of Iran’s Armed Forces, the Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards (Sepah) said that the Nouruz message of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution is the guiding principle of the Iranian people’s great movement toward progress and prosperity, stressing, “By overcoming the enemy’s strategies, we neutralize the effects of oppressive sanctions.”

In his message to the Supreme Commander of Iran’s Armed Forces, Revolutionary Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards (Sepah), described and emphasized that the strengthening of the Islamic Republic of Iran came about primarily through the divine message and the Nouruz message, stressing, “The Revolutionary Guards (Sepah) see themselves as the main recipients of this Nouruz message.”

Major General Salami added: “We have received the Revolutionary Leader’s pioneering, inspiring and vitalizing Nouruz messages, which represent the true meaning of the great movement of the country and the honorable Iranian people towards the peaks of pride, progress and prosperity.”

The message states that the strengthening of Iran in the light of faith will take place to the extent that it will render the enemy’s cunning policies ineffective and the enemies’ sinister aspirations will be neutralized by the revolutionary-economic resistance of the people.

Ayatollah Khamenei, the honored head of the Revolution, in his message on the occasion of the beginning of the year 1400 after the Hijra, has called the new year “the year of production, support and removal of obstacles”.
