Iraq, soldiers attacked by terrorists in the north, 3 dead

Terrorists suspected of Daesh (ISIS), the monster created and backed by the United States and its allies - killed three Iraqi soldiers and wounded four others in an attack near the oil-rich city of Kirkuk in the north after that Iraqi forces recently inflicted heavy blows on the group's hideouts in the area. Terrorists launched the ambush on Sunday against the Iraqi army barracks in Wadi al-Naft, about 25 kilometers west of Kirkuk, said a local military official quoted in an AFP report.

"Three soldiers, including two officers, were killed and four other soldiers were injured," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Although no groups have yet claimed responsibility for the deadly assault, the Iraqi military described it in a statement as an apparent response to the "painful attacks and quality operations carried out by our heroic armed forces" which have inflicted "heavy losses on the gangs of Daesh and killed a large group of their leaders.”
