PYONGYANG-The Washington Declaration of the United States and South Korea "is a product of the ferocious hostile policy towards North Korea that reflects the will for more antagonistic and aggressive action" and is the result of the "dombing down" and of the "incompetence" of the presidents of the signatory countries. This was written by Kim Yo-jong, deputy director of the propaganda department of the North Korean Workers' Party and sister of leader Kim Jong-un, in an article published by the official news agency "Korean Central News Agency" ("Kcna") about the document signed on the occasion of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol's visit to the United States, which pledged to respond to a possible North Korean nuclear attack against Seoul. For Kim's sister that declaration on the so-called "extended deterrence" puts at risk "the peace and security of north-east Asia and the rest of the world" and "cannot be welcomed".
