The head of the Palestinian Autonomous Government stated that the entire Arab world is satisfied and happy with the improvement in relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Mahmoud Abbas, in an interview with CGTN, praising China's role in rebuilding relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, said, "The success of the meeting between China and the Arab countries is considered very important. We are very pleased that today China is facilitating the development of Arab affairs through this meeting, and We hope that Beijing's role in this area will continue."

He added, "China's action in establishing peace between Iran and Saudi Arabia is an action that many countries have failed to achieve. The differences between Riyadh and Tehran have been long and serious, and neither country has had time to resolve these differences, but thanks to a benevolent attitude China, in dealing with these countries, a miracle has been done."

On June 17, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan went to Tehran at the head of a delegation at the official invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, and met with his Iranian counterpart.
