According to the SSS news agency, members of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Battalion, the military branch of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, announced in a statement about clashes between soldiers of the Israeli occupation regime and Palestinian resistance fighters in Jenin on Monday that after Israeli soldiers attacked the Palestinian Mujahideen camp in Jenin, they managed to inflict heavy blows on the Zionists, while setting up an ambush.

Saraiya al-Quds, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced in a statement the Bas al-Ahrar operation in response to the aggression and attacks by the soldiers of the Zionist occupation regime on the Jenin camp.

In this statement, the Saraya al-Quds battalions emphasized the need to continue the fight and assured the Palestinians and the resistance public that the morale of these battalions is at its best and that the Palestinian Mujahideen will prevail on the battlefield, with what the Zionist enemy sees this is only a small part of the Palestinian fighters ready to resist.

The Saraya al-Quds battalion also said in a statement that the mujahideen of this battalion, as part of Operation Bas al-Ahrar (Power of the Free), were able to hit an attacking helicopter of the occupying Israeli army in the al-Jabriat area of the Jenin camp and forced them to leave this area.

The Jenin Battalion, affiliated with Saraya al-Quds, observed that the fighters of this battalion could fire at Israeli regime forces and equipment and detonate bombs in multiple directions at their own discretion.

Israeli regime sources also said that at least 6 Zionist soldiers were injured in a clash with Palestinian militants and a bomb blast. After violent clashes, the Israeli army sent its Apache helicopters into the skies of Jenin.

At the same time, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 3 Palestinian citizens were killed and 37 injured during the Zionist attack on the Jenin camp.Before that, the Zionists had clashes with the Palestinians only in the south of the occupied territories and in the Gaza region, but now the West Bank in the east of Palestine is not a safe haven for the Zionists because of the armed forces of the Palestinian youth.
