Palestinians mark the 74th anniversary of “Nakba Day” amid more attacks against Zionist settlers

The 74th anniversary of the “Day of Nakba” comes at a time when the Zionist regime is in its most precarious situation.

Aside from the fact that the “Day of Nakba” is only a few days after the “International Quds Day”, the world has witnessed in recent weeks a series of martyrdom-seeking operations carried out by courageous Palestinian youth across the West Bank and in the occupied 1948 territories in which at least 17 Zionists were killed and over 31 others were gravely wounded.
On the eve of the Day of Nakba, on the evening of Thursday, May 5, 2022, in the town of El’ad, located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, two young Palestinians consigned three Zionists straight to hell and wounded several others during a martyrdom-seeking operation, in retaliation for the Zionists’ abominable crimes against Palestinian civilians.
The operatives departed the scene after successfully completing their heroic mission, while the Zionist regime has not yet been able to apprehend them.
The two intrepid Palestinian teenagers, aged 19 and 20, reportedly escaped El’ad in a vehicle after their courageous operation, according to local media, while the Israeli Security Agency (known as Shabak) has been unable to locate them.
Meanwhile, the town of El’ad and its environs have been sealed by iron bars, and police have established checkpoints in and around the city, desperately hoping to capture the two young Palestinians.
Israeli authorities fear that the two Palestinian teenagers have escaped to the West Bank, making their capture exceedingly challenging.
The execution of this martyrdom-seeking operation, along with other recent attacks, and the failure of Zionist security forces to counter the Palestinians’ vengeance attacks, has plunged Israeli society into fear and panic, resulting in furious demonstrations against the regime’s security apparatus, prompting Israeli officials to form a “National Guard for the Protection of Citizens.”
Given the regime’s severe security failures in the face of martyrdom-seeking operations, it’s not surprising that this year’s “Nakba Day” is one of the worst periods for the Zionist regime, as the Israelis’ independence celebrations have turned into endless mourning ceremonies.
In reaction to the Palestinian youth operation on the 74th anniversary of Palestine’s occupation, the speaker of the Zionist regime’s Knesset [Parliament] lamented the lack of security by saying that “the euphoria of [our] Independence Day turned into a horrific and sorrowful day, and this reflects the hefty price of living in this country.”
Despite the fact that in the past, the Zionists marked the occupation of Palestine with much fanfare and festivities, it seems that in the near future, all Zionists will probably be required to don black to mourn their casualties as a result of the escalating Palestinian lethal assaults.
