Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, said, “We had to prepare for following wars after the 2000 war. We did not know that the Israeli attack will take place in 2006. The God has given us 6 years to prepare for the 2006 war. Some people may think that Israel left Lebanon after 2000 and the resistance is over. But from the very first day after the liberation in 2000, Qassem Soleimani, Emad Moghniyeh and the brothers insisted on preparing for a possible war in the future. The main influence of Hajj Qassem was during 2006 as he opened new horizons for Hezbollah.
Hezbollah got the missile power as a result of Qassem Soleimani’s effort. Because Hezbollah need new types of battle scheme and weapons to confront advanced warfare in the future.
But establishing a missile force in the Lebanese resistance was not an easy task. It required manpower, a high scientific level and extra effort to bring missiles to Lebanon from far away (Iran).
Creating a missile force for the Lebanese resistance was a very complex task. It required creativity, precision, and calmness. All of this happened as a result of effort of Qassem Soleimani, Emad Moghniyeh and other brothers
