The martyr Soleimani was leading the fighters in the combat
operations, especially the dangerous ones. He was personally exploring the
combat sites and barriers.
The head of the "National Support" bloc in the
Iraqi parliament, Ahmed al-Asadi, says that "the martyr Soleimani did not
conduct as a commander or as a military advisor providing advice to another
country, but rather acted as a fighter like other fighters, as he was exposed
dozens of times to fire and explosive devices.”
The "Jurf al-Nasr" area, during 10 years, was a
point for targeting visitors between Karbala and Baghdad by the terrorists, as
the geographical and demographic nature of "Jurf al-Nasr" made its
liberation difficult, but the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, by the advice
of the martyr Qassem Soleimani and the martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, liberated
it in cooperation with Iraqi Army.
Within a few days, the martyrs Soleimani and
al-Muhandis led the liberation of Jurf al-Nasr area, which gave impetus to
operations in other areas. As for the city of Amerli, it was besieged from all
sides, but its people and the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces resisted and
fought for 83 days, as the two martyrs Soleimani and al-Muhandis were landing
by helicopter in Amerli during the siege and under the fire
