The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement has warned Saudi Arabia about dumping its nuclear waste in the desert and maritime regions of Yemen.According to Sputnik, the Fisheries Ministry of Yemen's National Salvation government condemned an attempt by an Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia to turn Yemen into a dumping ground for toxic waste.
Yemen's National Salvation Government has warned of any agreement between Saudi Arabia and the retired government regarding nuclear radiation from toxic waste. The Yemeni Ministry of Fisheries said: "This action will be a warning of a major environmental catastrophe resulting from the impact of Saudi nuclear waste, which in the past was buried in the desert and sea areas of Yemen and is planned for future disposal."
The ministry added that radiation studied in the Red and Arabian Seas has caused the death of thousands of aquatic animals, the destruction of coral reefs and the marine environment on the coasts of the provinces of Aden, Abin, Al-Mahra and Hadramut. The Yemeni Fisheries Ministry said: "Saudi Arabia has turned Yemen into a testing ground for all types of internationally banned weapons, including cluster bombs, which it used together with allied countries in the attack on Yemen and with the support of the United States, the Israeli regime and the West."
Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates and several other countries, invaded Yemen in March 2015 and laid siege to this country from land, sea and air. As a result, over 16,000 Yemenis have died to this day, tens of thousands have been injured, and millions have fled in search of shelter.
