He added: "Damascus believes in the Arab dimension of all the problems of the Arab world and has always wanted the unity of all Arab countries and their positions."The Syrian Foreign Minister also remarked, however: "It is impossible to join the Arab League until bilateral relations with other countries improve."After the meeting in Beijing between Iranian and Saudi Foreign Ministers Hossein Amir Abdullahian and Faisal bin Farhan, the process of improving relations between the Arab governments of the region is moving at a faster pace.

In this regard, just a few days after the announcement by Saudi Arabia of its intention to invite Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to a meeting of the League of Arab States after Eid al-Fitr (Feast of the Break).
