Armenia once again accused the Azerbaijani forces of allegedly violating the ceasefire in the border areas.Despite the signing of a ceasefire agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan in 2021 and the end of the 44-day war for the liberation of Nagorno-Karabakh, and then the deployment of Russian "blue helmets" in disputed areas, the common borders between the two countries constantly serve as a witness to tension and conflict. Each time one of the countries accuses the other of violating the ceasefire.

Residents of the border areas on Sunday evening again witnessed the violation of the ceasefire. The media on Sunday afternoon reported on scattered border clashes between the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan and the denial of these claims by the parties to the conflict.

Radio Armenia, citing official officials of their country, reported that on Sunday morning, the forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan opened fire on the positions of Armenian forces in the eastern and southeastern parts of the border with all types of weapons.

Armenian Radio reports that no one was injured in this attack.The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in turn, called these allegations of the Armenian side speculation and refuted them.Azerbaijan's defense ministry said in a statement: "We categorically reject these allegations."Tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia have intensified in recent weeks.

The day before another conflict on the common border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, one of the Armenian officials in the Armenian government warned of an impending attack by Armenian forces.

The Armenian Ambassador-at-Large stated: "Azerbaijan is preparing new attacks on Armenia." Marukyan explained that Baku, by making false accusations, is allegedly trying to pave the way for an attack on Armenia.
