The effects on the world Islamic community, Iran’s strategic international position and the importance of the Persian Gulf and West Asia in the world chessboard made the Iranian Revolution become a phenomenon, an event that did not only affect the Iranian people, but had, and still has, an international influence and reach.

This year the celebrations of the victory of the Revolution in Iran have a very special meaning, this due to a series of events such as the assassination of the martyr general Soleimani and the subsequent Iranian attack against the US base in Iraq, the humiliating exit of the US from Afghanistan, the failure of the strategy of maximum pressure against the US towards Iran…

Also this year with the beginning of the month Bahman (Iranian calendar – February) the celebrations have started with millions of Iranians that because of the Pandemic have to celebrate differently the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of 1979.

However, in the capital, Tehran, and in other cities of the country demonstrations are taking place to celebrate the victory that put an end to the brutal Pahlavisupported regime of the United States.

The celebrations are still being followed by a large number of domestic journalists and those from other countries.

By celebrating the anniversary of the Revolution, Iranians reaffirm their loyalty to the cause of the Revolution and Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic.

The Revolution, under the leadership of Imam Khomeini, established a new political system based on Islamic values and democracy.

The Revolution also set a precedent and a landmark that restored hope to all oppressed peoples by exalting the will of every people in the face of tyranny.
