The Defense Minister of the Taliban government in Afghanistan says the US is still on the path of enmity with the Afghan government.
Maulvi Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid said on Wednesday that the United States continues to feud with the government of Kabul and called on Washington to stop interfering in the internal affairs of Afghanistan. Pointing out that "Afghanistan is an independent and free country," he added, "America must stop trying to control us."
According to the Voice of Afghanistan (Ava) news agency, the Taliban defense minister also regarding the border clashes between the Taliban and the border forces of neighboring countries, that "the Taliban government does not want to fight and conflict with any country, especially a neighboring one."
Mujahid also noted that some of the demands of the international community are directed against Islamic Sharia and Afghan culture, which is unacceptable to the Taliban government.
