Of the $650 billion allocated by the International Monetary Fund in the form of special drawing rights (SDRs), Africa has received only $34 billion, said UN Secretary-General António Guterres. "This is while the G7 countries received $280 billion," Guterres told reporters on the sidelines of the G7 summit. "It was done according to the rules, but from a moral point of view there is something fundamentally wrong in the rules themselves".
