To inflict a fatal blow on China’s rising power, there was evidence that the United States was seeking to spread the pandemic, killing a significant number of civilians, and damaging China’s economic infrastructure, which is its human power. About a month ago, a new strain of COVID-19 appeared in China. Through disseminating disinformation, the United States sought to embroil China in violent protests.

At long last, a small number of agent provocateurs ventured to the streets to demonstrate against the Chinese government. Simultaneously, the US and its allies began circulating false reports about why the Chinese government had to declare a quarantine while the rest of the world was loosening social rules. In a surprising turn of events, the Chinese government announced that it would lift the quarantine and refrain from releasing any more coronavirus information to appease the protesters.

The western media and think tanks, which had undermined China’s strict albeit effective pandemic-containment policies, are currently attacking Beijing’s new initiative to loosen social restrictions. Ironically, Western countries, including the United States, Canada, and Australia, are now pleading with the Chinese leadership to return to previous quarantine practices and data collection. To prevent the spread of COVID-19’s new variants, Western governments have been forced to resume screening and testing of suspected passengers. In fact, the West fell into the trap that it had prepared for China.
