With the containment of the recent riots and peace and security restored in Iranian cities, the true nature of the Iranian nation’s enemies has become more apparent.
On September 24, Israeli media outlets reported that “Iranian authorities managed to quell the wave of protests; the scale and intensity of street riots have been substantially diminished, and American initiatives have proved ineffective.”
In addition, Israeli analysts and Zionist intelligence agencies have been pessimistic about the possibility that the current protests in Iran would succeed in bringing about any changes. During the previous months, Iranian security services have consistently pointed to the malicious role of foreign countries, namely the Zionist regime, in the recent riots and diligently worked to thwart their objectives.
However, according to observers, Iran’s Achilles heel in blocking the nefarious plots concocted against its security and instability is the long and porous borders with Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), which harbours hundreds of Kurdish terrorist militias with a dark record of perpetrating atrocities against the very local Kurdish communities.
“I’ve seen pictures of Kurdish forces training outside of Iran and training in Iraq,” John Bolton, the warmongering former National Security Advisor of the United States, recently said.
In the last few decades, Zionist support for the Kurdish terrorists has been limited to political and financial support. However, with the beginning of the disturbances in Iran, it seems that the Israeli agent provocateurs and sabotage operations have adopted a new approach toward Kurdistan since officials in Tel Aviv inanely believe that there is a propitious opportunity to overthrow the Iranian state through the Kurdish gateway.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Supreme National Security Council (SNSC)-affiliated Nournews website reported in an exclusive report: “Over the last two months, numerous meetings between American political, military, and security officials and the secessionist Kurdish groups based in the KRG were convened to design and implement measures against Iran and find means to finance the Kurdish terrorist militants in destabilising Iran’s western districts.”
During his recent trip, the commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, threatened the KRG authorities and the Iraqi federal government in Baghdad that in the event that the Iraqi army did not position itself on the common borders between Iran and the KRG or if the anti-Iran terrorists’ headquarters in this region were not dismantled, the Iranian forces would launch a large-scale ground operation to eradicate terrorists in the KRG.
Many commentators speculated that these strident remarks illustrate the unwavering determination of the Iranian authorities and the new strategy of the Iranian armed forces in dealing with Kurdish terrorist groups that viciously seek to extend the unrest in western Iran.
Currently, the Zionist regime assiduously wants to smuggle weapons to armed separatists to carry out subversive operations against the Iranian security forces and turn Iran into another Syria. It is evident that the Zionist-backed separatist guerillas in the KRG, who have been trained and wish to exploit the current foreign-created turmoil and social disorder in Iran, will be an easy target for the Iranian UAVs and missiles.
Furthermore, the Iraqi National Security Advisor, Qasim al-Araj, announced the formation of a joint committee comprised of the Iraqi government, the KRG, and the Islamic Republic of Iran to address the threats posed by Kurdish terrorist elements.
The recent action of the Iraqi federal government in moving the Iraqi forces on the borders with Iran is deemed a first step in preventing the infiltrations of Kurdish terrorists into Iran and a timely measure in precluding the Zionist plans. Nevertheless, this action alone is not enough, because the Iraqis must be further vigilant of the movements of the Zionist regime, which seeks to create chaos and terrorist operations both inside Iraq and Iran.
