A free man is free whatsoever

Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq (AS) said:
A free man is free whatsoever; if hit with calamity he is patient, if showered with crises he is not broken, if he is detained, oppressed or moving from ease to difficulty, just like Prophet Yusuf (PBUH), his freedom won’t be affected whether enslaved, oppressed or detained.
