Ambiguity in the number of Israel's nuclear warheads

In 2008, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter estimated that Israel has at least 150 nuclear warheads that could be used in unpleasant situations. Six years later, the former U.S. president revised the number to 300 and this means that Israel has doubled its nuclear arsenal between 2008 and 2014.
