He had come to visit
The fatimiyoon (Afghan defenders of the shrine), when night struck, we assumed he would find somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of the soldiers to sleep. He lied down in a corner of the room and placed his shoes under his head. We felt sorry for him and emptied the room to let him rest.
