Yardage Night is the longest night of the year, celebrated on the last night of Azar month (December). On this night, lranians gather together, eat fruits like watermelon and pomegranate, enjoy nuts and recite Hafez's poetry to stay awake until morning. Yalda symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness.
