Malcolm X (1925 - 1965)
- In 1964, due to a dispute with Elijah Muhammad, the leader of the "Nation of Islam" separated from it.
- He had a lot of libertarian activities specially against the American hegemonic system.
- Malcolm's goal was to awaken the Africans of the United States through civic and social activism.
- Finally, while delivering a speech in a auditorium in Manhattan, New York, he was attacked by 3 assailants and was martyred by 15 bullets.
- A black and Muslim human rights and African American rights activist.
- His last name was “Little”, but after completing the Hajj, he chose the name "Malik Shabazz".
- At the age of 20, he was imprisoned for delinquency, where he became acquainted with the "Islamic Nation" and became a member after his release from prison.
- In 1952, he was elected spokesman for the Nation of Islam.
