The Dawaymeh Massacre:
The village is located in the al-khalil province.
In October 1948 the village witnessed a brutal attack by zionist militias, in which 500 members, including 200 from other villages who sought refugein in the Dawaymeh, were killed.
The Qibya Massacre:
Qibya is located 22 kilometers northeastern al_Quds and 44 kilometers west of Ramallah. At 19:00 of October 14, 1953, Qibya was attacked by disguised Zionist military forces under Ariel Sharon’s leadership. 69 Palestinian men, women and children were killed during the massacre.
The Houla Massacre:
At the dawn of October 31, 1948, an ‘Israeli’ force led by Menachem Begin attacked a small Lebanese town, killed its men and destroyed residential houses. It also buried dozens of people in mass graves. This was the reason behind the migration of this town’s citizens to Beirut. 90 Lebanese people were killed in this massacre.
Kafr Qassem Massacre:
On October 29, 1956, the Zionist forces targeted Kafr Qassem, a village located near the Palestinian city of Qalqilya. The attack, which happened at 17:00 while the villagers were returning from their farms, killed 49 people. This massacre was committed under the slogan “Be emotionless so that Allah lays mercy on you”.
The Haneen Massacre:
On November 26, 1967, ‘Israeli’ forces entered the Lebanese village of Haneen after some three months of besieging it. They killed its people using axes, set houses on fire and destroyed them. ‘Israeli’ forces committed yet another massacre in the Lebanese village of Yareen in 1974. After entering the village, they destroyed 17 houses and killed 9 people.
