The Qassam Revolution (1935) and the Great Palestinian Revolution (1936 - 1939)
Sheikh Izz al-Din al-Qassam, coming from Jabla in Syria, can be considered the beginner of the crystallization of organized and more framed jihadi action. al-Qassam realized the danger of Zionism on Palestine soon.
Perhaps the martyrdom of the Sheikh and his companions, and what he started in gathering the troops, was what set the fire on the Palestinian nation; Then the Great Palestinian Revolution, which spanned over three years (1936-1939), was launched.
Palestinian participation in the war 1947-1948:
This experience appeared powerful due to the use of the Palestinian popular uprising and the framing of part of it, and then, after the arrival of Arab armies in Palestine to take part in the war, the main burden fell on them and the battle took on a military dimension. The Palestinian martyrs were also divided into two groups, the Holy Jihad and the Salvation Army.
From 1965 to 1987:
It is the stage at which the contemporary Palestinian revolution began and the formation of some Palestinian organizations such as the Fatah movement, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Front, the As-Sa'iqa Organization and other organizations that later formed the Palestine Liberation Organization.
Although the purpose of all these organizations (most of which were established before the 1967 war) was to liberate all of Palestine, and they believed in armed struggle as the only way to achieve this goal, but at the end, they turned to what was later known as the interim program of the PLO until the signing of the Oslo Accords and the formation of the Palestinian Authority.
