nuclear winter

In 1980s and early 1990s western and Russian scientists published the results of their research on one of the consequences of nuclear war which was partially observed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Atomic explosions send clouds to the stratosphere which prevents sunlight from reaching the earth, causing a nuclear winter that makes the earth cold and dark.

Consequences of nuclear radiation:Long-term study of survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki shows that they were diagnosed with 16 types of cancer.Coronary vasospasm, chronic liver diseases, thyroid diseases and intrauterine diseases are among other effects of nuclear radiation.Prof Barry Sanders:The largest attack on our environment on the planet is carried out by one organization: the United States Armed Forces.
