Before the Islamic Revolution, Iran was well-known as the United States' proxy in the Middle East. Iran was frequently tasked to carry out US agenda such

as deploying troops to Oman between 1973-1975. The Pahlavid government has poured at least USD 6

Billion for the deployment.

After the Islamic Revolution, Iran committed to support the oppressed nations in the Region.

Iran assists any liberation movement against oppressor such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, Palestinians, Bosnians and recently Iraq and Syria from terror groups like ISIS.
