On September 30, 2000 Jamal al-Durrah and his son Muhammad left their home in al-Barij refugee camp in the Gaza Strip to buy a car. But suddenly they found themselves in the crossfire of the Zionist occupation soldiers and Palestinian security forces in Salaheddin street. Jamal hid behind a concrete barrel and Muhammad sheltered behind his father.
