THE AL-SHAMAH MOSQUE IN THE AL-ZAYTUN AREA AND YHE "AHMED YASSIN" MOSQUE IN THE CIASTAL CAMP LOCATED IN THE WEST OF GAZA, ONE OF THE LATGEST MOSQUES IN THE AREA, WERE IMPORTANT MOSQUES DESTROYED BY THE ZIONIST REGIME. THE AL-SHAMAH MOSQUE HAD A HISTORY OF ABOUT 600 YEARS.
