Israeli researcher and author Ronen Bergman told the BBC:
"General Hayden told me that the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists was Israeli work". He had told Obama that what Iran was doing in Natanz was not producing nuclear weapons but producing knowledge, and that there was only one way to kill knowledge, and that was to assassinate Iranian scientists.
