Gahar Lake is a mountain lake in Iran. This lake is located in the southeast of Durud and in the protected area of Ashtrankoh in Lorestan province with a height of 2350 meters above sea level. This lake, which is known as the "Jewel of Ashtrankoh", has been largely free from destruction and pollution by humans due to the lack of a car road. About 70,000 tourists visit this area every year
