Hajj’s first gift to the one willing to open his/her eyes to realities and to benefit from the God-given ability to “understand phenomena,” is the unique knowledge achievable only during Hajj and available only to the pilgrims on Hajj… This knowledge includes: knowing one’s self as an individual, knowing one’s self as a part of the great Islamic Ummah, experiencing an example of the unified Islamic Ummah, knowing about the glory and mercy of God and knowing the enemy.
