History of the use of chemical weapons 2

Chemical weapons were first used when the Germans fired tear gas at the French in Neuchâtel in October 1914. Due to the scattering of troops and the limited number of bullets, this tactic was not very effective and even the French did not realize its use. However, the Germans did not give up and used chlorine gas for the first time on April 22, 1915 in Ypres, Belgium, against French colonial soldiers and Canadian infantry who had no mask to protect themselves.
