Holy Shrine Defenders: Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada

The roots of the formation and launch of the Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada go back to four months before the fall of the Baathist regime in Iraq, when it entered the field of struggle against the American occupiers under the name of "Kata'ib Hezbollah" in Iraq.

The “Kata'ib Roghayyeh” is a branch of the Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada in Syria, which began its activities in combating takfiri terrorism and protecting and defending Islamic holy sites in Syria since September 2013.
