Imam Khamenei thanks Iranian sports delegation in 2024 Paris Olympics

With the conclusion of the Iranian Olympic sports delegation's participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, expressed his gratitude to the country’s athletes, federation heads, and coaches. The text of the Leader’s message is as follows:

I would like to sincerely appreciate our dear, spirited, dedicated athletes, heads of sports federations and coaches, and the National Olympic Committee for bringing joy and honor to our country in the field of sports during the recent competitions.

In the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Iranian team successfully won 12 medals (3 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze) in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, as well as in taekwondo. This achievement placed Iran 21st among more than 200 participating countries.
