Justice beyond all description
It is impossible to speak about Imam Ali’s justice. He said, “By God, I would prefer to sleep on thorns all night or be dragged in chains than to meet God and His Messenger on the Day of Judgment as one who has wronged one of His servants” (Nahj al-Balaghah, sermon 224). Who was saying such a thing? Someone who was leading a government which encompassed Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Egypt.
