Kourosh Charter of Human Rights

Kourosh Charter of Human Rights
The charter of Achaemenid Kourosh was written on a clay tablet after the conquest of Babylon in 539 BC by order of Kourosh. The content of this charter includes the recording of Kourosh' orders during the conquest of Babylon and the opening of this city with peace and tranquility, and it is considered a document to confirm the humanitarian behavior of the army of that time during the conquest of Babylon. This cylinder, known as the first Charter of Human Rights, is currently kept in the British Museum in London.
