After the relocation of the U.S. embassy to al-Quds, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on other countries to follow suit. Only two countries namely Guatemala and Paraguay expressed readiness to do so.

Why al-Quds?

Because the city is sacred in Judaism, Christianity and Islam and each of these religions have significant places in the city. That's why since thousands of years ago, the residents of the city and the regional powers and invaders such as the Egyptians, Babylonians, Romans, early Muslim rulers, the British empire  and in the modern era the Zionist regime and the Arab neighbors have fought for it.

Moving the U.S. embassy to al-Quds amounts to giving the green light to the Zionist regime to continue its domination of sanctities of Islam and Christianity as well as supporting its policy of occupation which is based on Judaization, displacement of Palestinians and seizing their land. This will add to daily problems of al-Quds residents.

The U.S. move to recognize al-Quds as Israel's capital and relocating its embassy to the occupied city, amounts to violation of the international law regarding al-Quds and encouraging the Zionist occupiers to continue their path.
