Narin Castle, Meibod
The most famous historical monument of Meibod is the ancient fortress of Narin Castleor Naranj Castle in the local dialect, which is about 5000 years old and is considered the oldest government citadel in the world. Apparently, Narin Castle was a place of residence until the early Islamic centuries, and then it was abandoned. This magnificent castle is located 50 kilometers northwest of Yazd city and on a hill with a height of 25 meters.
