Nature of our military presence in Syria

Our presence in those regions was advisory. Only in rare, critical situations did our forces actively participate. Martyr Soleimani trained, armed, organized, and prepared a group of several thousand young men from among their own people in Syria and they stood firm. Later, some of their own military leaders, unfortunately, caused problems, and abandoned something that was ultimately in their own best interest.
