Pahlavid government was well-known by its dependency to foreign countries, notably the United States. While after the revolution, Islamic Republic brought independency, integrity and absolute national sovereignty as main principles into the constitution.

POLTICAL INDEPENDENCY Olicials appointment is one of the most principal rights for a country. The Pahlavid monarch was such dependent to the West that even Prime Minister and other country official's appointment has to be done under the West supervision. But all these political and

military dependency disappeared shortly after the Islamic Revolution took over the power. The Islamic Republic of Iran came

to the international public with its unique slogan, "Not West, Nor East, but the Islamic Republic".Before the revolution, Iran merely a Western puppet country in the Middle East. Now, Iran managed to

become the most influential country in the region.

According to a report released by The American Interest, Iran is seventh the most powerful country

in the world by 2017..

CULTURAL INDEPENDENCY One of the main Pahlavid agendas within their reign was to reshape the Iranian Islamic society's culture. The Pahlavid promoted the West as an ideal model for its society. The only mission of the Pahlavids was to eradicate religion from the society. The effort caused numerous deviants and wicked acts among the society. The Islamic Revolution came and put a special attention in cultural revitalization activities since the very first day. This effort is applied in various aspect especially education and its environment including universities The experts also review school textbooks so that it can be recomposed based on Iranian and Islamic values. Iranian cultural independency has brought Iran from a filthy westernized country under Pallavid to an influential prominent country thanks to the Islamic Revolution.

MILTARY INDEPENDENCY Military is a basic necessity to define a country's power. The Pahlavid Shahs purchased

a lot of Western arms, notably the US to empower their royal military. But in reality, the

West was trying to rob Iranian resources by selling arms with an extremely non-sense price. Not to say that the West also exploited Iran as their warehouse without permission.But now,

the Islamic Republic as the stakeholder of resistance in the region has successfully passed numerous tests such as Iraqi aggression, 33-day Lebanon war, 22-day Gaza war, ISIS war etc. Iran has shown its own independent military capability to the world hegemony and

superpowers.
