Praying for insulters The prophet was stoned or insulted by violent enemies in numerous occasions. Each time his kind wife, Khadija went after the prophet and found him. As she was bandaging his wounds, she heard him saying:
اللهم اغفر لقومي، فإنهم لايعلمون
O God! forgive my people since they are ignorant.
