Rangouniha Mosque is another must-see place in Abadan. This building has nothing in common with your idea of historical mosques, because the people of Burma built it. The British built the Abadan refinery inspired by the Burmese refinery, and a number of immigrants from Burma or Myanmar came to Abadan. Burmese engineers and workers built a mosque in their own architectural style near the refinery, which became known as the Rangouniha Mosque in Abadan.
