SHEIKH LOTFOLLAH MOSQUE
Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque of Isfahan was constructed four hundred years ago by the order of Shah Abbas Safavi. Professor Arthur Pope, an American historian, wrote while describing this mosque: "It is challenging to regard this work as a creation of human hands. There is no hint of weakness in this structure, and one can only imagine religious faith and heavenly inspiration as its source."
