Shushtar The capital of the world's water structures
Shushtar is a small but historical city in the north of Khuzestan province and it is 90 km away from Ahvaz. Two rivers, Karun and Dez, pass through this city, and the water structures of Shushtar are among the sights of Iran that have been registered in the UNESCO world list. These water structures date back to the reign of Dariush Achaemenid.
